Like most GP's the practice is busy, however I have always been able to get an appointment at short notice when absolutely necessary. They doctors are caring and thorough. Dr H Patel is particularly good; always positive, upbeat and technically sound.
The new purpose built surgery is very good

I was listened to by my doctor which really helped for me to understand what I should do to get better. He was very reassuring and friendly which really gave me hope that I could.

The problem is getting passed the rude receptionists not all of them are like and some have excellent people skills, but you cannot get appointment at all even to see the duty doctor very frustrating

Thank you for your feedback. Please accept our apologies if you were unable to get an appointment that suited you. We are an extremely busy surgery constantly trying to improve the service to our patients. We offer a substantial number of appointments on the day which are allocated on a first come first served basis and we also have some availability at the GP Alliance Hub on the same basis.. Our routine appointments are usually 2 weeks for any doctor but may be longer if a particular doctor is requested . The duty doctor is also available for urgent problems and deals with a number of urgent cases including urgent visits as they arise every day. Our receptionists are here to help as much as they can and we are sorry if you weren't happy with the service provided this time. Response left by Sally Gaites/Senior Practice Administrator

I care for my Grandparents on a regular basis so I'm in contact with the surgery often. I feel very lucky the staff there are always so helpful & friendly as I'm often calling on sensitive matters. Cathy, one of the receptionists has especially been great, always going out of her way to help me & with such patience! On a recent home visit Dr Robello was like a breathe of fresh air, my grandad is very poorly & has dementia & she handled everything perfectly. Her friendly & calm attitude was much needed & she made my Gran feel supported & listened to, she couldn't have been any more helpful. All the Drs I've had contact with have been friendly, understanding & patient which is how a surgery should be.

I am so glad I am able to leave a review for this surgery. Myself and my family are usually seen by Dr Patel and on occasions Dr Collins. When the NHS works it works amazing and these doctors are proof of this. Today I rang for an appointment for my daughter and although this was quite hard to get and I fully understand why, the receptionist Kathy was amazing and so helpful. We have come up with a solution between us but she took the time to give me options. Completely dispelling the "receptionist" myth. Dr Patel always has time for us no matter what the issue, he takes time to explain everything in detail and nothing is too much trouble. Well done and keep up the good work.
